Tucson 2010 - The International Panoramic Photography Conference

We are pleased and excited to announce "Tucson 2010" - The International Panoramic Photography Conference.

It will be held in Tucson, Arizona, April 14-18, 2010, presented jointly by the IVRPA and the IAPP (International VR Photography Association and International Association of Panoramic Photographers).

We hope to make this the best and biggest conference ever, bringing together everyone interested in any form of panoramic photography.

There will be a day of tutorials, lots of talks, in-depth technical sessions, vendors, field trips, two wine and beer receptions, a banquet, a panoramic print show, meetings with video links for international members, lots of opportunities to meet each other. We have managed to keep the cost low (only $250) and arranged an amazing deal on hotel rooms (luxury for $75 a night, single or double).

It will be spring in the desert, and all your rowdy friends will be there. Plan now to attend Tucson 2010!

More info to follow, and there is already a website: http://Tucson2010.com

See you there,
Don Bain (IVRPA)
Christian Fleury (IAPP)

And with the heavier than normal rains we have had we should see a very colorful spring.

Re: Tucson 2010 - The International Panoramic Photography ...

False alarm!

The hotel probably has plenty of space and we will expand our block of rooms at the special rate. It may take until Monday to straighten this out, but don't panic, we will get you rooms. Even if you booked at a higher rate we can get the low rate for you, we have a contract.

Re: Tucson 2010 - The International Panoramic Photography ...

Just booked my room from the 13th to 19th at the $75 rate, so I'm good to go.

BTW: is breakfast included with conference rego? I seem to recall an $83/night room option that included breakfast, but also recall something about breakfast in the conference info. Either way Hilton had no info about a breakfast deal that I could see on their booking page.

Thanks,

Aaron Spence

I wish I could visit the event.I'm sure it was great! :) I hope to participate next year and I have a question, can we submit digital files instead of prints?..
BTW, there is a good read in pdf on panoramic photography on the web. Might be useful for the readers. http://www.pdfok.com/panorama-photography
